What you can do

Two ways to run PDF to Word

In your browser

Free · Unlimited · No sign-up · Private

Digital PDFs: text, layout and simple tables, converted on your device. No account, no limit.

Advanced AI

Free account · Monthly credits · Our own GPU server

Scanned pages, complex tables and forms, read by an AI vision model on our private GPU server. Free account with monthly credits.

Privacy and where your file is processed

In your browser mode the PDF never leaves your device. Advanced AI mode: needs a free account, runs on our own private GPU server (not a cloud AI provider), is never used for training or shared with third parties, and the upload and result are deleted automatically after processing.

Free usage limits

Free to use. In your browser: no account, no file-size limit and no usage limit. Advanced AI mode (our private GPU server): free account with 150 credits a month (1 credit per page for OCR and PDF to Word), files up to 50 MB and 100 pages. There is no paid tier.

Frequently asked questions

Does PDF to Word work on scanned PDFs?

Yes, in Advanced AI mode, which recognizes the text in page images. Browser mode reads the PDF's text layer, which scanned pages do not have.

Is my PDF uploaded?

Not in browser mode. In Advanced AI mode it is uploaded to our own GPU server, processed, and deleted automatically afterwards. It is never shared with third parties.

What file type do I get?

A .doc file that Microsoft Word, LibreOffice and Google Docs can open and edit.

Will the layout match the PDF exactly?

Simple documents convert closely. Tables and multi-column layouts can shift, so check the result before sending it on.
