Terms of Use

These terms are the agreement between you and us for using EditMyPDF at edit-my-pdf.com. By using the site you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Who we are

EditMyPDF is operated by Ghada Tuameh, a sole proprietorship established in Türkiye ("we", "us"). Contact: support@ahillaapps.com

2. The service

EditMyPDF offers online tools to edit, organize, convert, compress, sign, protect, translate and OCR documents, check text for AI writing and rewrite it. Browser mode is free, needs no account and runs on your device; it is paid for by ads, so when your file is ready a short ad (about 4 seconds) is shown before you download it. Advanced AI mode is free, needs an account, runs on our own GPU server and uses credits.

Credits: each verified account receives 150 free credits on the 1st of every month (UTC); unused free credits do not carry over. A job costs 1 credit per page for AI OCR, AI PDF to Word and AI translation, 2 credits per page for OCR with translation, 2 credits per 1,000 words for the GPU humanizer and 1 credit per 2,000 words for the Advanced AI checker. Only successfully finished jobs are charged. Credits have no cash value and cannot be sold or transferred to another account. We may change the free amount or the costs; changes apply from the next month and are shown on this page.

No ads: a verified account can turn ads off with the "No ads" switch. While it is on, each Browser-mode download costs 1 credit per 10 pages (rounded up, at least 1 credit per download; a file that is not a PDF counts as 1 page) and is charged when you download it, and Advanced AI jobs cost twice the credits listed above. Accounts holding purchased credits see no ads and pay the normal costs. If you run out of credits, ads are shown again.

We may add, change or remove tools and limits, and the service may sometimes be unavailable (for example when the GPU server is offline or busy). The service is provided free of charge, so we do not promise any particular availability.

3. Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Keep your password safe; you are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else is using it. You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account.

4. Your content

Your documents and text stay yours. In Browser mode we never receive them. In Advanced AI mode you give us only the limited permission needed to process your submission and return the result, after which it is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

You must have the right to use any document you process, and you are responsible for its content and for how you use the results.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the service for anything illegal, or to process content that infringes someone else's copyright, privacy or other rights;
• remove protection from documents you are not authorised to unlock;
• upload malware or try to break, overload, scan or gain unauthorised access to the service or its servers;
• get around the credit limits, for example with multiple accounts or automated scripts;
• copy, resell or offer the service, or access our servers through any interface other than the site, without our written permission.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

6. AI results

The AI checker gives a statistical estimate, not proof that a text was or was not written by AI; it can be wrong, especially for formal, technical or non-native writing. Never base an accusation, a grade or a disciplinary decision on it alone.

The humanizer, translation, OCR and conversion tools can make mistakes or change meaning. Always review results before you rely on them. Do not use the humanizer to break the rules of a school, publisher or employer, or to deceive people.

7. Third-party services

Some tools rely on other providers (for example Google Translate for Translate PDF). Their own terms and privacy policies apply to what they receive; the tool pages and our Privacy Policy say which tools use them. Ads are provided by advertising partners under their own terms; section 4 of the Privacy Policy explains how they use cookies and how to change your choice.

8. Our rights

The EditMyPDF name, logo, site design and software belong to us or our licensors. These terms do not give you any right to them other than using the service as offered. Open-source components are used under their own licences.

9. No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we give no warranty that it will be error-free, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose. Keep your own copies of important documents: we do not store your files and cannot recover them.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damage, lost data, lost profits, or damage caused by your use of results. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or any right you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes and termination

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and if you keep using the service after a change you accept the new terms. We may stop offering the service, or part of it, at any time.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Disputes are handled by the competent courts and enforcement offices of Türkiye. If you are a consumer, you may also apply to the consumer arbitration committees or consumer courts under Turkish Law No. 6502, and if you live in the EU you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country.
